  1. Thanks I'll try to get some more videos this year if I have the time , this may be our busiest year yet . Ive been working to fix up the dm dumps ever since we bought them . Strongest trucks I've ever been around (we converted them from mixers to dumps)
  2. you can look up flora ready mix on facebook to see our ole macks in action . this is not an advertisement or any of the like . just thought id let you guys know .
  3. I'd like to ask , not necessarily what you pay your drivers, but what is the average hourly pay in the big city to run a tri axle . Were nowhere close to nj but just wondered .
  4. Do you trade trucks in or have a fleet of them , nice ride
  5. Rfcdrum I'm not sure about the lines being crossed because the truck was on a job when this happened, however long story short there is a range valve to the passenger side of the trans that was leaking a bit of air. We put a new top plate on it from a new valve and also switched the shifter head so the lines were all switched.... Well .... After we traced the lines on one of our dm's to make sure they were all right on the problem truck (they were not) , we got them hooked up correctly and now that the range valve isn't leaking and the lines are correct it works like it should ... What a mess ..
  6. No it doesnt have air controlled throttle, this truck i believe is a 98, shes all mechanical
  7. Hello, i have a problem of a maxitorque 2080 just blowing air whenever trying to get it into high low or reverse? If you put the shifter in neutral it quits leaking air , but if you put it in high low or reverse it just blows air out of the valve on the drivers side of the transmission (which is a new valve) we replaced . it will not go into drive or reverse and everything in the shifter head is good . no bad o rings etc . have any of you had this problem ? Any help would be appreciated
  8. Here's what I came up with ... Lol http://www.bigmacktrucks.com/index.php?/topic/1760-rd688-vs-rd690/ The two dm's in my avatar one a 96 the other a 99 , are what I drive at work, I would rather drive the 96 with the mech engine ,just seems you can feel the power more with the mechanical engine ...
  9. The first electronic engines in our rds start in 99 , the older ones even the 98 has a mechanical engine ... I like them better also
  10. I would not buy that to put to work , just my opinion .... It's a parts truck .... That's why it's setting where it is
  11. Thats who i was thinking of, and their always hauled to wherever they have jobs..I would hate to drive that monster very far, liable to beat you to death
  12. Look familiar to a truck seen around Illinois to soil/cement , is there any name on it
  13. Underneath the heading is says wwwdotwatchdog, com , but I know nothing more
  14. I know that exact sound , nothing really compares to it, we had a single axle dt466 international that was without a muffler for about a year, every time we had a small load of gravel I would run to the truck so I'd get to piss everyone in town off ....that's one he'll ov an engine , I'd almost compare it to a Mack but I won't go there
