    chuck. what do you have for complete air filters down there? looking for a dry element for the G-73. i can get you measurments if you have anything. i know the top center inlet is 5" where the cab slips over it when lowered and i think where it goes to the cummins via the rubber connector line is the same. you can pm me if you have anything. thanks

    hey freightrain. the pics of that 'ol ford reminds me of my old days in the late 60's and early 70's playing with the 409 chevies. nice pics. (i didn't think a ford could jump that high LOL)

    yeah hk. nothing like a 1955 A-CAR with a 220 and a 5 and 3 in it when i first started. only two good shifts in the whole thing was 4to 5 and direct to over. some of those changes you could eat half of sandwich while waiting but you learned how. the truck kept moving but not fast. worst one i ever drove was a '56 R-220 binder. you talk about sraight gears 3rd to 4th seemed minutes.

    a buddy of mine has a 36" able body sleeper off of a "super dog" he wants to sell. it's mack part no. 85 QS 42 P28. serial#2737 687. sleeper is in western ma. has knockouts on each corner for the stacks. twostickmutt@yahoo.com

    here are some casting numbers i found on the block. maybe this will help. PART 131000 PAT 138424 0001 00 CD MADE IN USA 50- 3 25 63 the part number was casted same as pat. number. the last 4 digits were ground off some and 1000 was stamped in it's place.. i'll have everybody scratching there heads pretty quick. j.j.

    ron. there is some casting numbers on the drivers side of the block. i'm going to try to find the sreial number again today and while i'm there i'll get the casting numbers. thanks again. j.j.

    ron. had some other numbers too...AR 5732 and 1283 D. one of those might be the date code. this doesn't have a compression release either. thanks. j.j.
