  2. So a little bird just told me that Other Dog has retired. The red KW has been cleaned out, vacuumed, washed and returned to FL Moore and the keys handed in. (Were the second logbooks burned...???) I just wanted to say Congratulations to one of the biggest assh......I mean one of my best and closest friends on his retirement. Please enjoy a safe, healthy and happy life with Zina from Florida now from Virginia. You certainly deserve every good fortune that is hopefully headed your way. Thank you for being a good friend- we do not get to see each other often but I consider you family and if Zina from Florida now from Virginia becomes Mrs. Other Dog that means she will be family too. Love you guys and god bless you!!! Now, the question remains: What are you going to do on Monday morning? I have a great suggestion, how does "Other Dog's Steel Coil Chaining School and Brass Pole-a-torium" sound? It's a combination school to teach proper coil chaining and stripper bar. We can have all kinds of Winfall Wimmen and smoke some brisket (not close to the building) and have some Schlitz and Jack Daniels. We will make millions, I promise!! (I think.)

  4. Well after a few days of testing and diagnostics, I found a hole in my air line going to my boost gauge..fixed it and now I get 30lbs of boost under full load most of the time. Did not find any other leaks after pressurizing the intake system so I left the fresh air compressor pipe/hose alone for now. Truck still feels sluggish at times so I turned to the fuel system. Replaced all fuel lines, filters, and replaced check valve. While taking the line from the tank to filter housing off I found a chunk of plastic/rubber from the inside of the fuel line stuck in the elbow. Found my problem I’d say truck seems to run ok now. I may still check fuel pressure and replace the lift pump if need be when I get a few more days to mess with it. Was talking to a buddy that runs repair shop and he is seeing a lot of that from the fuel lines from trucks 20 years old or so. Thanks for all inputs everyone

  8. Hitch arrived today and I'm quite happy. Very heavy built and good welds. Maybe China built but it is "Titan" attachments out of Memphis, TN branded. Only thing I didn't like was no lock washers where the bottom pins thread into the weldment for retention. I installed grade 8 split lockwashers and blue Loctite on the threads so it's shouldn't vibrate loose.....

  9. I see it sold for $45750. I don't know if that is a good price or not but I do know you couldn't come close to restoring one for that amount.

  10. And I'm sure they will miss you very much-which is not something a lot of employers can say in this day and age of minimal pride in doing a job well.

  11. so "My Pillow" has been removed from retailers like Kohl's and Bed Bath and beyond, because Mike said there was fraud in the election process..... ( that enabled Kamala to win, I mean Biden, no wait... Obama, to win a third term)... It is amazing that there are so many "Wimp's" that own huge business's... What the heck is going on? Why is the Jackass's ass getting kissed at every turn?

  16. Hello just recently purchased my first truck for my sewer business. Cool back story on the truck, I use to operate this truck for a pervious employer years ago. Many long hot summers and blistering cold winters here in central Illinois I have shared with this old truck. This truck has always performed well and when the opportunity arose I took it and purchased it not just for nostalgic reasons, this is a true tank. I have been learning lots and always looking for some more insight and knowledge on these older model Mack trucks. If any one cares to share any information, maintenance tips etc. I would really appreciate it. Far as I know it is running the EM7 300hp engine with the Maxidyne 5 speed transmission, only got @160,000 miles on it. It is a pumper truck with a Moro M8 vacuum pump which still kicks plenty ass on all seasons. I will another post asking for some advice on how to increase turning radius on my right side but besides that truck is running like a champ. Thanks in advance for any helpful tips or information.
