  1. I’m all Mack. I don’t look at anything newer than 2003. When we can’t keep them running time to close the doors. They haul the same loads time and again. I know it’s not an option for everyone, but for my operation it’s the best way to maximize our money. I feel for everyone running newer equipment that is unreliable.

  2. the imron was defiantly not cheap was over $1500 in paint . normally i would use nasson or croma base on cars. i have not sprayed many single stages not on a allover paint job anyway, iv done like some trailer fenders or things like that in single stage paints. i drive a lot of gravel roads so that was part of my reason for going with the imron should be more chip and scratch resistant. its not been very long sense i sprayed it but i wet sanded and buffed out a small spot and it was almost like buffing stainless steel..lol its defiantly some tough stuff.

We all need 1000 pound feet of tq to get groceries , these diesel pickups are retarded ,theres no way that kind of power is needed or even able to be put to the ground ,and you know ford will put theirs up to 1050-1100 pounds just say they have more ,pretty soons the rams will have a x15 in theirs .

  5. I'll pain't that fire truck for you if you want me to. Just let me know, so I can get the Krylon and bring it to Macungie. I don't use that cheap dollar store crap, only Krylon, so it won't be cheap. The paint alone will probably be 25 or 30 dollars, then you got your tape, old newspapers, etc. You're probably looking at close to 40 bucks.

  6. I loved my CH. A 2000 with E7 460, 18 speed, 16 and 46's on Mack Air. I pulled 5 and 6 walking floor and log trailer on and off road. That truck never got stuck where other trucks could not go for some reason. I had all the bottom pieces of the fairings ripped off and it still kept pulling through the mud in the bush and the mill sites. Was a very good handling truck in the winter. Never ever made you nervous. It had a lot of engine issues. Was one of the ones that came out of factory with casting sand in the block. So it cooked 5 air compressors and air dryers before they finally go

  10. You do need to admit she is entertaining and the Millennials, Gen Y and Z people love her. You watch she'll be in the White House in 6 years as Madam President. A few quotes . . . You don't add to the deficit if you only borrow money in your own country. Truth doesn't matter if you are morally correct. Socialism failed in Venizuala because they didn't have enough money. The world is ending in 12 years if we don't act on climate change. Billionaires and millionaires are immoral.

  13. It’s the Twin Cities, nothing can shock the conscience and as 41 says...she was a first choice to represent. When I can avoid the Minneapolis airport, I drive the extra distance to Chicago. Every other MSP African woman working the desks, security and logistics will be wearing Muslim garb and just as many Muslim male employees in casual wear. That’s my choice, I’m that guy who doesn’t want the pilot wearing a shirt that says “I (heart) Allah”. Without prejudice, any faith that embraces suicide as a means of instant salvation makes me react.

  17. In the early 80's, had some concrete delivered during a snowstorm with that model of Autocar. The chute went through a basement window of a house built in 1793 so a pad could be poured for some new mechanical equipment. The truck survives three towns over but the barrel is long gone.
