Went to the state offices in Richmond today to get screwed over my blood pressure raised to critical and walking back to my truck passed a Model Train Hobby Shop. This was in the window. Very true to life if you ask me! Paul Hosted on Fotki

This was my wife's wish and I said I will see it through. Equipment, house kits and tradesman are set to go, everything is mapped out both plat wise and legally. 23 disabled Vets and their families are tentatively chosen to be given the first homes. I will not take stupid "green" requirements by some power mad town employee. Monday I will be at the local news channel and start my push back and get my vets homes or I will bankrupt the town.

"Momma" snapped this a few years ago when I was hauling fill for my shop property. This load, a few more just like it, and then 630 tons of fill sand were all carried by this ole girl. Lot's of people "rubbernecking" too. Slow and steady still gets the job done.

yesterday today that was just after imron base coat before clear, i forgot to take a picture after i shot the clear it was getting pretty late when i finished up. ill post up a picture tomorrow of it all un wrapped with the clear coat on it. i recorded some video on the whole process so that will be in the works as well. but my old peeling fading pant on the mack has been replaced with nice shiny new paint. its had some clear coat issues as long as iv owned it but it has really started showing its age up close over the last couple years, the whole drivers side was starting to peel bad and the passenger side was starting to peel and there was absolutely no clear coat left on the roof, not to mention the hood had been re painted previously by someone else and the color didn't exactly match they painted over stickers and it was separating in spots. as the original paint was failing underneath the repaint on the hood.

Came home from a Fishing trip to find a box from Maine. In it were cans of Moxie soda, an invasive species in these parts, compliments of BMT's resident philanthropist 41Chevy. Since everyone who tries it (social media) seems to feel inclined to comment I'm throwing mine in too....... Moxie Virgin's stop now if you don't want the spoiler. Brought the cans to a steady 38 F and cracked. Scent is perfumed and pungent similar to a Mennonite store that sells bulk spices. Flavor strikes a memory of dime store candy sticks...… more specifically a softer version of Horehound. Aftertaste is the tricked-out part of the soda. After 15 seconds the sweet dissipates and a dry bitter sets in and holds on. Unique. Stuff is a 10, salute to the Northeast for good craftsmanship. Regretfully, no availability in Wisconsin for the near future. My wife agreed we are keeping the last can (toast) till Paul has a victory over Virginia's "A-Holes".

Raining pretty good when I snapped the photo yesterday morning and the decal is obviously aged but it's fitting: The caption reads: When America is Bankrupt and Lady Liberty Falls, Who will the Democrats and Media Blame?

My son and daughter in law went with me but went in first, dressed in their finest NY Yuppie garb.I strolled in a few minutes after them and sat in the back with my camera. During the public question part, they asked how hard would it be to get a permit to convert their 4 car garage into 3 apartment units. Any issues with energy requirements and and issues about who they can and can not rent to. The answers were that there are no rules on green energy and as long as the spaces are issued a C.O. any one that you choose can live there. Son asked again if they plan on any green laws or occupancy requrements in the future and again the answer was no. When the meeting ended i walked up to the Village Supervisor and the head of the zoning board and thanked them for the fantastic video and also thanked the Head of Zoning for leaving me the reasons for denying my permit (60% solar and open residency not just veterans rule) on my answering machine. Told them I'll see you either on the TV news and in Federal Court for Discrimination against Handicapped Veterans unless you met my terms when I decide on them. The members were following me talking to me but for some reason they all scattered when I got into my dump truck and started to leave. Most enjoyable day I've had since my wife passed away

I just wanted to give an update on my R770. I have everything working as it should, Cleaned and painted frame and hubs. Repurposed some tires. The ones on the truck had lots of tread but were badly weather checked from sitting for 16 years . After a polish, this is what I have. A side note about the flags. The previous owners wife would hand sew flags for her husband. There was a stack of them under the seat, so I thought I should be showing them off ,and sharing the story.

Never plan on being a stoner, don't smoke, seldom drink and it fascinates me...…………….Stoner dude sits at home smoking state-approved weed & eat'in Cheetos, Democratic politicians boast whimsically about how many drugs they did in college, the companies CEO has a chrome box for his nose candy and Mr.BlueCollar is told "stay sober, clean, and your going to piss in a cup if you wanna get paid (or score a job)".

This is how I recall the 50's and 60's when I used to ride with my uncle when he worked for Walton P Davis in Locust Valley N.Y. Only time I ever road in a Sightliner. Scary and cool for a 12 year old.

Hey guys/gals! It’s been a while since I have posted in BMT. Not since shortly after our CL753 build. I hope all is well with you all. I am back to share another build I am beginning. If you guys remember, my father and I restored a green Superliner about 5yrs who, and then a yellow CL About 3 yrs ago. Any way I have a new project, something bigger and wilder than I have ever done before. Finally got the RD854 my dad always wanted . It’s unfortunate he isn’t here to help me on this, but my uncle and I plan on doing this one in honor of him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

the imron was defiantly not cheap was over $1500 in paint . normally i would use nasson or croma base on cars. i have not sprayed many single stages not on a allover paint job anyway, iv done like some trailer fenders or things like that in single stage paints. i drive a lot of gravel roads so that was part of my reason for going with the imron should be more chip and scratch resistant. its not been very long sense i sprayed it but i wet sanded and buffed out a small spot and it was almost like buffing stainless steel..lol its defiantly some tough stuff. mostly all back together now got the exhaust stack back on and the grab handle on the back of the cab after i took those pictures mostly just have to put the interior door panels back on and interior trim around sleeper windows and a couple broken bolts i still need to deal with on the drivers side front 1/4 fender and put my lettering back on the truck. id like to re-polish all my alluminum before i put it back on the road as well. but its almost done. oh and here is the visor after i fixed my screw up and re-sprayed it and a close up picture of the color

My friend found one of these pics on social media, so I figured since they have been also featured in the Canadian Bulldog Magazine back in the day I would post I may as well post my good friend's and his fathers old Mack's. The E9 V8 Superliner was a show and shine winner at El Rodeo Du Camion in Quebec. And the R pulling the float trailers had what he built as the very first auxiliary power unit around here back when there was no such thing. He put a Vauxhall engine in the side saddle storage box that charged the batteries, pre-heated the engine and wet line hydraulic oil tank and provided climate control in the cab when parked.

It’s coming back together! Latest update says starting it Thursday morning and having it roaring down the streets of Maryland later that day. What funny is one of the big delays was the fact that her replacement, Independent’s new Engine 12, was also in the shop and obviously the wagon still in service took priority. I’ll send pictures when I can, but I will say that her chrome shines brightly, or atleast what you can see if it behind the rust.

Folks, we need to give Barry Holden a big hand!! If you notice on the home page, he has dedicated a tab at the top of page to the B Model Registry. Once you click on it, you can get to the registry plus a lot more info that I dug out of sales literature. There is still more to send to him, so keep checking from time to time. The old web site that all this info was on was discontinued for some reason. I'm grateful to Barry for posting all this again so everybody can learn more about their ride. Sent a personal note to Barry and thank him for this addition. I have noticed the times on messages he has sent here and I'm starting to think he lives at Watt's Mack. Not often you have a employee willing to put in that much time! Over & out from Ignorant Ridge, Tom

You know how it goes, just driving along on a mission, enjoying your own thoughts, listening to the music of a cool powered Mack, the whistle of that magic tip turbine singing away All this time big brother is watching you I am not complaining one little bit though Was stunned to see me on Facebook that night when I stopped So sit back, relax and have a good chuckle Paul received_350847202182842.mp4

I’m all Mack. I don’t look at anything newer than 2003. When we can’t keep them running time to close the doors. They haul the same loads time and again. I know it’s not an option for everyone, but for my operation it’s the best way to maximize our money. I feel for everyone running newer equipment that is unreliable.
