I unloaded a load of beams in Roanoke early Monday morning, then went up here to Milton, W.V. and picked up two mill rolls and took them back to Petersburg, Va. Picked up another load of beams in Petersburg going to Roanoke, but I dropped it at the yard and took a van load to Fuquay Varina, N.C. Cleaning up damage from the recent tornado in Evergreen, Va. The railroad tracks are over in the background, that's where I lived when I was renting a house in Evergreen, just this side of the tracks. The house later burned. Got distracted by Fox news... I hauled a bulldozer a while back and the man that hauled the dozer to where I picked it up has a restored B 61 Mack. I finally got to see a picture of it yesterday- It's an old Jamerson Brothers truck, like this one except for the tandem axles. Here's some of his old tractors behind the B model on the same trailer he had the dozer on- Fox News, B models, and a bulldozer inspires me to post a poorly photo-chopped picture of a Winfall wimmins posing in a field by a bulldozer...

I've been on a secret mission today. I went over to Concord to turn the refrigerator off in the red truck and get the half a pack of ham and half a bottle of Miracle Whip that i'd left in it- I was afraid it would run the batteries down and it wouldn't start tomorrow. Anyway, when we left I said "we should ride down to Drakes Branch and see if that B model sleeper cab is still sitting there." I had seen it a couple of months ago when I was passing through but I didn't get a picture. So we did, and it was still sitting there. It looked a lot worse up close than it did driving by that day, lots of rust- but there was two new looking coil racks laying in the passenger seat.

I think Dad said this was a A-50 Gas , He would tell the story about hauling the first supply's up to the top of Ghost Town Theme park in Maggie Valley NC , in the 60,s With this Truck Following a Bulldozer having to widen the road ( before the chairlift was installed ) I was about 4 or 5 years old , One of the first truck numbers I can remember "500" !

These are no connection to me. But they are very close and I'd be happy to inspect and take photos for anyone interested. I know they are getting hard to find. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1107607449

Just finally caught a $$ brake on everything I have to fix. $3 for the roll and $16 for shipping. Quoted $14.81 at Mack per foot ((Hood Welting for the Cowl)). I paid $11.86 last spring when I bought some for the 1978 RWL from Mack. Hopefully there is enough for the next Superliner.

No play in shaft joints and splines is good. The best answer would be bringing the shaft to a prop shaft shop to put on a test/balancing bench. I would expect those folks tell you to swap the splines part before any reason in balancing appeares.

Yes, the B73, 75 and 77 could receive the Mack L model cab instead of the standard B cab.

Good Body guys all have three vises: Women, money and drinking issues. All take away time from what they are really good at. It goes with the job, just think what could happen if they really put thier mind to it. No one wants to finish what someone else started but if time is short that may have to be done. Good luck on getting the RW back together in a week. I got a car that was started almost 5 years ago. It will be perfect but a little over due. Good thing my health is good and not planing on going 6 feet under soon.

Every shift, is a smooth shift. No mater how hard you push the fuel pedal down, it's going to do it nice and steady. Tire wear, u-joints, suspension parts, and fifth wheels are seeing the benefits of automated transmissions.

Otherdog has been forced decided to also add onto the business by adding a barbeque catering crew. They will come out and ruin any affair cook for your party at your location. Here is the mobile barbeque unit. Stay tuned in the near future for the restaurant's menu.
