  1. Found this gem at an auction today. Even says Mack on the the hood. Thinking about running it through the dishwasher when my wife is out of sight.

  2. If anyone talks to Rob, say "hello" for me. I miss reading his "words of wisdom" on BMT.

  3. I talked to him tonight. He is doing fine. He has many things going on right now that need his undivided attention. I think we can all relate to that. I will be speaking with him occasionally and I might even be able to talk him into posting a note every now and then. Don't worry, he is still into antique Mack trucks. Doug

  4. I feel the crap will hit the fan whether he wins or loses...He will try to finish his agenda if re elected, I'm sure with UN "backing". If he loses...well, I know him and his followers won't go off quietly. Either way I see bad ju ju. Paul

  6. My wife is actually cool with this crap. I showed her pictures of B and R models she says "go buy it" then I show her IH and Pete cabovers and same thing "get it if you want it" - she's a keeper. This is how we wound up with 9 cars, 4 motorcycles, and a boat.

  7. All I can say is a quote from my dad: "With a cuttin' torch and a mig welder, anything can be done." Personally, if I'm fixing to swap an engine into something, it's gonna have two strokes. Just saying. Ben

  8. Sounds like the EGR cooler probably overheated and cracked internally after the radiator hose blew. A cracked EGR cooler would allow antifreeze to mix with the intake air and cause the sputter you described, and also the coolant pushing out of the surge tank. If you pull the mass flow pipe off of the cooler outlet and look inside you will probably find traces of coolant.

  9. Sound like erg cooler is down leting coolant into mass flow pipe causeing engine miss and compression in coolant system , if you drive it to long this way it will burn out your mass flow pipe sensors they dont like water. Egr cooler can b tested on truck to confirm its leaking.

  10. Sorry wasn't tring to ruffle your feathers just tring to get to the bottom of the problem. So when your pulling your guts out in say seven of 8th is and as the power is going away does the boost fall off as well?Or does the boost drop as the truck slows, you should see boost hang in till about 1400 and then the boost should fall of some and the pyro should climbif its working right ! Just some observations. My thought here is that under high fuel demand the engine is starving for fuel !In the lower gears your fuel demand is not as high once in the hight gears your using and demanding every bit
