what causes Mack 237 run away when started

i rewired my running lights,turn signals and brake sunday everything worked fine. Checked it out Monday before i left to get an inspection Failed no stop lights passenger side but signals work fine this is on rear could this have to do with signal switch in cab.

well guys thanks for your help it looks to me that can use old heads new block and old manifold with new turbo. Glue wire staples and duct tape thats got to fix it.

Hey guy thanks for all your help. It seems to me that i can use old heads as long as the exhaust manifold fits heads and turbo.

I spoke with a local rebuilder he said no. He said a late model head would work on the old block but old head would not work on newer style block. Couldnt tell me why.

I have a cracked head on my em6 285 tip turbine 1987 Mack dm686s. Can i use a head off a 1977 237 675. Thanks Randy

87 EM6 2valve injector problem need help

#3 and 4 spit fuel but the other 4 seem to flow more than spit -
I have a dm600 1968 dump runs great needs 2 or 3 rear tires 20 speed Quadraplex will stick in gear if your not carefull. Also 1969 Mack dump 9speed drive trains good needs tire batteries exhaust. Has a crack in frame behind cab.

Hey guys does any one of a good place to order head gasket and injectors for this 87 Em6 two valve motor or would it be better to try to have the injector rebuilt. DM686S -

No rag only #3 injector line was removed but help remove 3456 at pump to get line back on thats when he reversed lines 3,4. -

Thanks for your replies and yes idid bleed air at injectors then started truck and bleed again but 3and4 were missing. Iknow now that it was because they were reversed. Do you think iblew the head gaskets on test drive about 4 miles. -
changed injector line and helper crossed #3 with#4 at pump test drove about 4 miles checked line and put them back in order but still wont hit on 3 or 4 what damage could be done,
