  6. I like the look and the way that you are updating the elec's etc, will you work the truck or use as hoobby/show type of thing? At some stage I would like to restore/rebuild an R700 myself, there are one two survivors here that I may be able to get hold of. Keep up the good work, looking great as said.

    Another R 600 I drove this one 4 valve 300, tipping off into a Fertilizer bin at an airstrip.

  11. RB Mack.Hi, They were NZ only. R series with set back front axle, the bonnet was made here, done by local Mack dealer and importer Motor Truck Distributors.Similar set up to the Aussie set back axle Value Liner, no v8 version here though.

    This is our Ch we have at present on bulk aggregate, Fertilizer, Coal cartage etc, has one million and three thousand kilometers on it so far.

  14. Thankyou All, I'm enjoying the site alright, all the different configurations, models etc that have never been here in NZ are fascinating, always have and probably will always be biased towards the dog.

    One I drove here in the eighties, 350 econodyne, 12 spd mack, we had another with the 440 E9.
  16. Day one out of the workshop, brand new 2 valve 300, towed a 3 or 4 axle trailer on mainly grain back then.
