Is there a book or guide to use when trying to decipher Mack models, styles, and production years? I have seen them for most makes and models of cars, I even have one for my Hudsons. Enjoy reading this site very much, incredible source for information! My trouble is when you start talking "alphabet soup" named models, I could use a guide. Thanks, Keith

Should be something in the WikI section. Paul

A lot of books have been written about Mack, but most focus on the corporation and not on the products. In the fire truck arena I'd recommend any of the Harvey Eckart books as a good guide for the various models.

Another resource is the Mack Museum. They have shop drawings of almost every part Mack ever made. A request should be accompanied with a donation.

Money, sex, and fire; everybody thinks everyone else is getting more than they are!
