Eaton fuller 13 speed

My experience recently with an 8LL exhibiting the same is the main drive gear on the input shaft, that is undercut from the factory for easier shifting, is worn and needs replaced. It may also be the shift forks maybe worn from forcing it to stay in or out of gear. First I'd check the shift tower for damaged or worn springs and the mechanism for operation. If all good pull the covers or drop the trans and inspect gears. Here's a trouble shooting guide.
