cxn613 Posted February 18, 2015 Share Posted February 18, 2015 After purchasing this truck new it had a vibration when getting up to speed. Macks answer was new shocks,cab and motor mounts. That took care of the vibration but our smooth ride seemed to go away with these new shocks. With about 200,000 on these shocks I'm planning on replacing them my question is what socks will the dealer give me off my vin. Was considering putting origanal part number shocks on to maybe get the smoother ride back but also hope the vibration doesn't come back. Might give you something to compare the Mack part with.Mack shocks from 25-30 years ago were made by Monroe. Maybe still are? Quote JimIt doesn't cost anything to pay attention.
