redward Posted January 26, 2015 Share Posted January 26, 2015 I am looking at a 1986 R690ST tomorrow and I was wondering if I should be looking for hidden rust spots somewhere on the cab. Can anyone offer feedback on where I should be looking or feeling for rust, where it is not easily visable. It has a front plow and sander box on it. thomastractorsvc Posted January 27, 2015 Share Posted January 27, 2015 back of the cab lower where the pinch seam is, roof gutter, bottom of the doors especially passenger side if it has the washer fluid jug in the door.
