Johnny Bar

Recommended Posts

I use the Johnny Bar especially when I'm in the paver. I like on my '98 that I can set it at 10-15PSI and it will hold.

I recently bought a '12 CHU and the Johnny Bar dose not stay in position. It has that stupid safety on it.

Does anyone know of a way to make it so it will stay at the desired PSI?

Take the dash apart and remove the spring that returns it to the top.

You will have to change to a older valve.I have done tried this for a dump trucker.I know of a few guys that wish they had the newer valve that would not stay in place. What I mean is they spent a lot of time and money for parts trying to fix the stop lights for staying on. but this was on a bobtail truck.
