Chuck P Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 From the R700 pics that I have seen it looks like they changed the forward cab mount in '77 or '78. That may have raised the cab another 3 or 4 inches thus the deeper fender. 57 bcr Posted September 20, 2014 Share Posted September 20, 2014 Seemed to me after the RS/RL 700's were discontinued (retired by the Super-Liner),the R-700's got a "body lift" that made them sit like a RS/RL 700.
