Sawmill motor

I remember going to Palmer's sawmill in Powhatan,Va. when I was a kid. They had several stationary 6-71 GMC diesels powering the mill, running wide open...sounding great. Then I remember going there the last time and being disappointed that they were all gone, replaced by electric motors.

Producer of poorly photo-chopped pictures since 1999.

My grandfather bought an engine and trans on stand a few years ago that was on a sawmill. 673p with a 9 speed overgear! guy cut the B67 behind the cab, and hooked in right up. place I used to work had a U model Mack hooked to the sawmill, 285 with a 5 speed behind it. cut the rear end off and hooked it right up. that's actually where the rear end for my B613 came from
