Is there any reason why you couldn't run that as a fire tanker if it had a dump valve installed (obviiouslly not as a milk carrier as well, just by design). My 3600gal KW tanker was the largest I've seen in the fire service on a straight chassis. Even the tractor drawn tankers aren't much bigger than yours. bulldogboy Posted December 11, 2014 Share Posted December 11, 2014 I don't believe than milk tankers are baffled due to the need to sanitize them. Baffles would interfere with a thorough cleaning. I once drove a small milk tanker on a Chevrolet chassis hauling ice cream mix and it was not baffled. bulldogboy Posted December 24, 2014 Share Posted December 24, 2014 Rymes Oil recently purchased all the assets of Fred Fuller Oil Company, one of New Hampshire's largest oil and propane dealers. Fuller has a couple of Mack "CH" tractors but, recently, has been purchasing Freightliner tractors and delivery trucks. Nice to see that Rymes has been purchasing Macks; hope that they continue to do so. Looks like "logtruckman's" fleet is based in Stamford, VT. The Stamford Fire Department used to run two homemade tankers on Mack "U" model chassis. In 2009, they purchased a 1988 Mack "MC" pumper from a department in California. Nice looking unit, white with orange stripes.
