Unsecure cargos have caused many fatal accidents and this is a shame really because such accidents can easily be avoided by securing the cargo. All one needs to do, is use Truck Tarps to secure a truck's cargo to ensure it doesn't fall off in transit. Tarps not only keep the cargo secure but also keep it safe from inclement weather. This infographic takes...
I have a 1954 Model B 42 that I have been working on over the past 10 years (way more off than on). I am at the point where I want to mount the Radiator onto the radiator support along with the grill and rubber seal. It has been so long ago since I took it apart I forgot where the rubber seal goes. It doesn't seem right that the rubber g...
Once we got the engine a bit cleaner it was time to see what I have gotten myself into. Trying to turn the engine over by hand sucked so the starter came out without much problems (it is bloody heavy tho) as I had popped my 12v booster pack on it in the hope that it would turn over but no luck. Once on the deck and cleane...

Having an issue with the compressor recirculation valve. I hooked the computer and it says that it is shorted low or open cercuit. I'm looking all over and I cant find or identifiy this item.
New to this. Have a 2004 Mack with a 460 ASET, pretty sure it's the AC because it has the EGR cooler. Been have some problems with it and are pretty sure that it is the EGR valve and possibly the cooler. I know that with the 08 and new you can delete the emissions but i can not find a way to delete them on the ASETs. Was wondering...

Working on 2008 Mack with MP8 overhead cam engine. Ive got problem where the gear on air compressor keeps getting chewed up. Removed tranny from truck and removed timing gear cover from rear on this engine. Found the intermediate idler (double idler) gearset rubbing into aluminum timing cover. Wanted to know if anyone has come across this problem before.
We are starting to replace the cammel back spring on a quad dump truck. The labor cost at the mack dealer is $2600.00 and $2400.00 parts to replace springs and all hardware. Is there any tricks to doing this job or anything a fella should know before starting.
Can anyone tell me what 2002 Mack Freedoms are like? Are they worth buying? What kind of mileage do they get?Does the engine and automatic transmission hold up well? ThanksCasey
The plastic tabs that hold the inserts in the center dash are breaking off on my RD688S. Is there a way to repair it without replacing the dash? Or is there an aftermarket dash or insert I can put in there?
Does anyone have any tips on em7 cam /lifter removal
